You can pay from your PayPal balance or with a major credit or debit card through PayPal. Once PayPal confirms the payment, your license key is e-mailed to you.

Each product page offers a Personal license for private, non-commercial use at home, a Commercial license for use in a company or any other business, and an Education license for students, teachers and schools.

Each type comes as a Lifetime license (one payment, no expiry) or a 1 Year license for a smaller outlay. The current prices are shown next to the Buy buttons.

Yes. Government bodies, schools and universities, and non-profit organizations qualify for a discount, as do orders for several licenses at once.

Activate your copy. Your license key (also called the registration code or serial number) arrives by e-mail and contains everything the program needs to know about your license.

Before activating, make sure you are running the latest version from our download page. Then enter your name, e-mail address and the key; the step-by-step activation guide shows exactly where.

Not as a single license. Our programs are licensed per computer, so for ten people on ten computers you would order ten licenses. Auto Shutdown Genius is the exception: one license covers two computers.

Volume discounts apply from a few licenses upwards; ask us for a quote.

Yes. One license covers one computer, whatever the number of Windows user accounts on it. If you want to run the program on a second computer, you need a second license. The exception is Auto Shutdown Genius: a single license covers two computers, for example a desktop and a laptop.

A Personal license is for private, non-commercial use; a Commercial license is for use in a company or any other business.

All prices on this site are in US dollars. PayPal converts the amount to your own currency at checkout, so you can pay from a PayPal balance or card in any currency PayPal supports.

Orders placed in our software store come with a 30-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied, cancel within 30 days of the purchase for a full refund. You can also try every program before you buy, for 15 days.

If something went wrong with your purchase, tell us what happened and we will do our best to put it right.

Check the confirmation e-mail. Once PayPal has confirmed your payment, the license key is sent to the e-mail address on your PayPal account.

Give it a little time. PayPal payments are normally confirmed within minutes, but a payment funded from a bank account or flagged for review can take up to 24 hours to clear.

Look in the spam folder. Spam filters are not perfect, and mailboxes that ask senders to confirm they are human block automated messages altogether.

Still nothing? Use the license key retrieval service with the e-mail address you ordered with, or contact us and quote your order number.

Your license key is e-mailed to you after checkout, usually within a few minutes. Open the program's activation window, enter your name, e-mail address and the key, and press Activate. The window is in a different place in each program: Video Snapshots Genius has it on the License page of Settings (the slider icon at the top right); Picture Resize Genius behind the lock icon at the top right; Auto Shutdown Genius behind the Activate link in the status bar or on the Settings page.

Yes, once. The program sends your name, e-mail address and key to our license server over HTTPS and saves the license on your PC. After that you can use the program offline. If a firewall or proxy blocks the connection, allow the program through or activate on another network.

If you have the license key but the program rejects it, the most common reasons are a typing mistake and a payment that has not reached our license database yet. Copy and paste the key without spaces at either end, enter the name and e-mail address exactly as on your order, wait a little and try again. A key for one product does not activate another product.

If it still fails, contact us with your key and order number and we will sort it out, issuing a replacement key if needed.

Yes to both. Install the program on the new computer, or again after the reinstall, and enter your license key. Reinstalling the operating system or replacing the computer removes the local license data, so keep the e-mail with your key somewhere safe.

One license covers one computer (two for Auto Shutdown Genius). If the old computer keeps using the program you need another license. If the key reports that no activations are left, send a short message to our support team and we will reset it.

Activate the program again and enter the new e-mail address in the activation window. The new address replaces the old one on your license record.

For evaluation, yes: install it on as many computers as you like. Each trial lasts 15 days from the first run. Once you have bought a license, activate the program on the number of computers your license covers and use it for the personal or business purpose that license allows. Copies you have not licensed should be uninstalled at the end of the evaluation.

Each license covers one computer, so using the program at home and at work needs two licenses, except for Auto Shutdown Genius, where one license covers two computers. A Personal license is for private, non-commercial use and does not cover use at work.
